Generation C – BBQ & Game Night
I’m pretty sure that you’ve heard of co-work. But it’s much more than just properties and a place to do work. It also will give you a community – and it’s the future of how business is going to be done. The value of co-work is actually in the community, that will give you not only new friends, but the chance to meet a bunch of people that were just as passionate and driven as you were about your business goals. These people probably have or had faced the same challenges that you may be facing right now.
So, what better place to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit than with other like-minded people?
Why do we need Community?
When you have your own community, you basically collecting wisdoms. No one person ever has all the answers; consulting with other people is always going to give you better information, from a-whole new perspectives. Realizing or not, having a community will also push your limits. When we work by ourselves, oftentimes we will give up easily when things get tough. But not when you are surrounded with people who works toward a similar goal. You will get your motivation, support, and friendly competition to push yourself just a little bit further than you would have done on your own. When things get tough, and you are about to give up, your community is where you want to lean on the most. Not only helping you with your problems, but working within a community will give you new ideas, teach you new skills, and provide you good critic when needed.
Like Concrete’s philosophy, we connect people, we create ideas, and we collaborate to empower. That is why we create Generation C.
Generation C is a community movement founded by Concrete designed to connect, create and collaborate to empower our future generation. Nowadays, many people care a lot about creation, curation, connection and community, however, finds it hard to connect with each other. We believe that these community (we called it Gen C) exist. We are here, as a hub for them to be connected to each other both digitally and non-digitally.
Every month, we will have a gathering (we called it GCCG, stands for Generation C Community Gathering) where we will invite our community to come together for one night and every month we will surprise our community with different themes. The objectives of this is for our members to learn new things, have some fun with mind-alike friends and expand their networks.
Like they said, you can never make too many connections while you’re building your business.
Last Friday, 17 March 2017, we had our first GCCG – BBQ & Game Night.

Our first gathering was a success, thanks to all of you!
Join us on our next GCCG! 🙂
